David “Jody” Hill, one of today’s most versatile drummers, effortlessly masters any genre with skill and style. Having toured with legends like Gloria Gaynor, Aretha Franklin, The Village People, Sister Sledge, and reggae stars such as Inner Circle and Kymani Marley, Jody’s talent has earned him a respected place in the music industry. With three Grammy nominations alongside Joss Stone for Mind Body and Soul, Jody has appeared on shows including The Craig Kilborn Show, The Today Show, and Ellen.
Jody’s proudest achievement, however, is forming the Deep Fried Funk Band in 2009, a powerhouse group that brings unparalleled energy to genres like Hip Hop, Neo-Soul, Jazz, Funk, Disco, R&B, Pop, Reggae, Latin, Rock, Gospel, and Country.
