Virtuoso pianist Mia Vassilev, who began playing at age 3, has graced stages worldwide as a soloist, chamber musician, and opera accompanist. Her recent CD credits include Several Times (Navona Records, 2018), Del Caribe, Soy! (Naxos), and MIAMI GRANDS (Ecstatic Records). In Miami Beach, she performs frequently with orchestras like the Hallandale Symphonic Pops and Alhambra Orchestra, and serves as adjunct piano professor at Barry University.
Holding degrees and accolades from Kansas State, University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory, and University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, Mia is active with esteemed opera companies, including the Metropolitan Opera and Florida Grand Opera. She currently performs two signature shows internationally: Pedals & Bows, a glamorous homage to Liberace, and EDM Dance Show, a tribute to today’s dance music scene. Each show can be customized with live musicians, dancers, and multimedia, ensuring a captivating experience for any audience.
